Nursing Program
Welcome to the pre-nursing program, where you may enjoy all the benefits of a liberal arts experience while fulfilling the prerequisites for entrance into one of three top nursing schools. Washington College has partnered with Johns Hopkins University, University of Delaware and the University of Maryland to offer dual-degree approach that you can complete in five years.
The first three years are spent here, where nursing students typically major in biology or psychology. All three nursing programs recommend that you participate in a nursing internship program.
Some students elect to complete the bachelor's degree at Washington College before admission to nursing school. The prerequisites for nursing schools differ slightly for these students, who may then complete the BS or MS in nursing.
